Welcome to the duck!
Hi there! Chad and Christa Cooper here! The proud owners of The Duck Coffee Co. (formally known as Odd Duck Coffee)
While we both have many years of specialty coffee under our belts, Chad and I both had a desire to learn more and go even deeper into the amazing world of coffee. “Gosh wouldn’t it be cool to roast?” we thought.
While traveling to our new duty station, we prayed and asked God for the opportunity to do just that. It wasn’t long after we got settled that we were introduced to our now dear friends, Teddy and Andrea Klopf. Teddy, among other things, is a coffee roaster. And much to our benefit, he loved sharing his knowledge of coffee, and educating others to better their understanding of what makes a great cup of coffee. His fine tuned palate, generous spirit, patience, and vast know how paved our way to becoming roasters.
Teddy and Andrea began Odd Duck Coffee, and their desire was to make fresh roasted, high quality, organic, fair trade, single origin coffee available to all. These high standards open the doors to bringing you the flavors of coffee around the world! We want your taste buds to be able to experience the chocolate of Brazil, the light fruity beans of Ethiopia Sidamo, or the natural earthy flavors from Sumatra.

If you make your way into our brick and mortar, you will find yourself in a land of sweet and savory crepes, unique specialty lattes, authentic italian gelato, house made flavors and whips, all of which we strive to hold the same quality standards as our coffee.
